Finally GOA in BJP GOAL

How Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari checkmated Congress to form BJP government in Goa

Highlight :
  • Amit Shah told me that we have to form the government (in Goa) and asked me to go to Goa immediately: Gadkari
  • 'I woke up Amit Shah at 5.15am and conveyed to him allies condition that they will support BJP only if Parrikar is made the CM'

Manohar Parrikar is set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Goa today even as the Supreme Court ordered that a floor test be held on Thursday, March 16. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 5 pm today in Panaji. After days of hectic political developments, state Governor Mridula Sinha had appointed Parrikar as the CM. The move left Congress peeved and they had filed a petition against the decision in the Supreme Court. During an ‘urgent’ hearing, the apex court disposed the petition filed by the party, saying all issues raised in it can be resolved by simple direction of holding floor test. Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar, who had managed to pull off the coup and catapult BJP to such a position, is a multifaceted personality and one of the most admired politicos of India.
